TEENAGER/ YOUNG PERSON COUNSELLING
Guidance & Inspiration
Young adults may find it difficult to express themselves. They may feel they have no control at what is going on in the outside world and find transitions challenging. Should the young adult wish to, I would encourage my play therapy tools to help them understand and show their feelings safely without becoming too overwhelmed. Through this we can find tools to help with these feelings and work together to understand and heal the issues they are facing.
Young adults from 16 + may be able to refer themselves and considered for therapy without parental permission. They will be assessed as to whether they are Gillick Competent.
