ABOUT ME

I am an experienced person centred counsellor based in Surrey with an aim of helping adults and young people find the tools to understand and move forward in their lives.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, and qualified with my Post Graduate Diploma with Place2Be which is also accredited by the BACP.

​

I am a mobile counsellor offering a safe, confidential, therapeutic counselling service for clients in the safety of their own home. I also offer online counselling services via teams and text based counselling via WhatsApp.

​

For face to face work I cover West Byfleet, Woking, Guildford, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Ottershaw, Pyford and surrounding areas.

If working via Teams online, I cover everywhere in the UK.

I have always been interested in helping others. I specialise and feel passionately that children are our future and their struggles in the world can be understood and heard, which is important to enable development. I work with children a minimum age of 10.

I work as a person centred practitioner, using a variety of theory to help inform my practice, working under the BACP ethical framework. I am committed to consistently improve my practice my continuing my professional development, as well as receiving regular supervision.

I have worked within a school setting with Place2be, liaising with staff and supervisors.

Within my adult work I have worked privately with clients in their own homes, as well as with families to help them work through their issues in a variety of ways, pulling together my theoretical knowledge such as attachment theory, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness and creative therapies such as drawings to help understand their world and issues and work through them in a non judgemental empathic way.
